Both of the above products are mine and produced at our quarry, ensuring that only the highest quality material is used in our builders mix.

Description

How Builders Mix/Concrete Mix is made:

19mm local stone is produced from brown granite rock that is drilled and blasted to loosen it up and fragment it into a manageable size. The layer of material mined rangers from 8-25m deep below the surface. Once drilled and blasted the solid rock is now fragmented into particle sizes of 500mm and smaller. The material is then loaded and hauled to a crushing plant where the rock is further crushed and sized using a series of crushers, screens to produce a final product size of <24mm and >15mm.
