Prices exclude delivery cost. Delivery will be calculated at checkout.
Delivery is done using a bakkie, transporting a maximum of 40 bags at a time, within a 50km radius from our quarry. If more than 40 bags are ordered at once, a delivery rate will be charged per delivery. For deliveries of 100 bags or more please contact our office.

Bags Content
13mm Aggregate
Used to produce concrete mix when mixed with river sand and cement.
- Produced from drill and blasted granite rock.
- Crushed and screened to 13mm aggregate.
Building Sand
Used to produce mortar when mixed with cement for the laying of bricks and blocks.
- Manufactured building sand produced from weathered granite.
- Weathered granite is crushed and screened to -4mm
Plaster Sand
Used to produce plaster when mixed with cement. This is applied to the surface of brick and
blocks to create a smooth finish.
- Produced from drill and blasted granite rock.
- Crushed and screen to -1.5mm sand.
- Sand is washed to reduce the -75 clay content, which would otherwise cause shrinkage cracks in the plaster work.
River Sand
Used in concrete works when mixed with cement. River sand can either be used with
aggregate to create concrete mix or alone for screeding material.
- Produced from drill and blasted granite rock.
- Crushed and screen to -6mm/+1.5mm sand.
- Sand is washed to reduce the -1.5mm fines content to ensure a higher spec. sand is produced, which is ideal for concrete works.

Packaging
Outer Bag: Woven and laminated polypropylene bag, pre-printed, folded double and automatically stitched shut.
Transport
Bags can be packed on either a wooden pallet or inside a bulk material handling bag for ease of handling and transportation. 50 bags are packed at a time, yielding an approximate weight of 2 tonnes. Ideally handled with a forklift.
Storage
Bags should be stored under cover out of direct sunlight and rain. If exposed to the elements packaging may deteriorate.
Safety
PPE Requirements: The following personal protective equipment should be used as a minimum:
- Goggles
- Gloves
- Dust Mask (FFP2)
- Boots
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air.
Skin Contact: Prolonged exposure may cause skin irritation. When exposed to skin wash with water and soap.
Eye Contact: Wash eyes with large volumes of water and seek medical attention.
Ingestion: If ingested drink large amounts of water. Seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
