Our building sand is produced from material mined at our quarry. This ensures that only the highest quality sand is used to supply our clients.

Our building sand is produced from a combination of natural sands and crushed rock. This provides a high strength product which is excellent for mortar mix when laying bricks.

Our building sand is screened out to a 5mm particle size and smaller which provides for a smooth and consistent mortar when laying bricks.

By using material sourced at our mine we ensure that there is no foreign matter such as reprocessed builders waste and organics in the building sand.

Our building sand is suitable for both small scale and high spec construction projects.

Our river sand is produced from drilled and blasted material mined at our quarry. This rock is further crushed down to <6mm and <1.2mm to produce a manufactured sand. This ensures that only the highest quality sand is used to supply our clients.

We use a modern washing plant to wash the manufactured sand and reduce the fines content in the sand.

The reduced fines content in the river sand will allow for a higher quality concrete to be produced when using the river sand in a concrete works.

Our river sand can be used in a variety of places such as:

• Concrete mix.
• Screed mix.
• Bedding soil for pipes and paving.
• Horse arenas.

Our river sand is suitable for both small scale and high spec construction projects.

Our builders mix is produced from drilled and blasted granite rock mined at our quarry.

Builders mix is produced from a blend of river sand and 19mm local stone.

Both of the above products are mine and produced at our quarry, ensuring that only the highest quality material is used in our builders mix.

Our builders mix is ideally used in places such as:

• DIY concrete projects.
• Light industrial concrete mix.

Our plaster sand is produced from drilled and blasted material mined at our quarry. This rock is further crushed down to <1.2mm to produce a manufactured sand.

The <1.2mm manufactured sand is then washed in a state-of-the-art washing plant to reduce the silt content (<75μm) in the sand, which produces a “washed plaster sand”.

This ensures that only the highest quality sand is used to supply our clients.

The reduced fines content in the washed plaster sand will allow for a higher quality plaster finish to be produced.

Our washed plaster sand can be used in a variety of places such as:

• Plastering over brick work, both interior and exterior.
• Grouting in paving works.
• Filler sand in ready-mix concrete applications.
